“Bounty” is back!
The Bryn Athyn Bounty Farm Market
returned on Saturday, June 1, 2019!
The Bryn Athyn Bounty Farm Market occurs every Saturday morning from 9:00am-12:00pm over the summer.
If you’ve driven down Huntingdon Pike through Bryn Athyn, it’s hard to miss the Friends of the Farm gardens. Join us Saturday mornings, from June to mid-October to purchase and learn about perennial and annual flowers, and organic vegetables. Stick around for breakfast fare, music, local products from partnered vendors, and of course the produce of the gardens, including honey and eggs, locally grown with loving care and natural and sustainable methods. Our bees enjoy a variety of food sources, and our spoiled chickens are fed weeds, bugs, and table scraps in addition to their feed to ensure that they produce the best eggs around!
Proceeds are recycled back into the garden for supplies, labor and educational opportunities and the broader community. We are located under the Oak Grove on the south side of the Junge Pavilion skating rink in Bryn Athyn. Come in the south entrance to Cairnwood Drive and you can’t miss us!
The gardens are used year round by school groups, and are maintained by volunteers, interns and the Cathedral gardening crew, with the support of Friends of the Farm. If you are interested in volunteering in the gardens or at the market, feel free to join our volunteers Facebook group, reach out to us on Facebook, or shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
